This week year 4 have been working hard on creating wonderful non chronological reports ( posters) about this terms key literacy text called Weslandia. We think that you’ll agree that they look pretty amazing. Well done year 4 your teachers are very proud of you all.

This week year 4 have continued their literacy journey into the world of Weslandia, our key text for term 2. The children have been able to discuss and record their own opinions about the book. 

We have been learning about Thomas Becket. We listened to the story and acted it out. Then we chose how we wanted to retell the story. Some of us drew story maps, some of us drew cartoon strips and some of us chose to write the story. 

On Wednesday 11th November, Year 6 were very fortunate to be able to attend a special Remembrance Service led by Reverend Estella at St Mary’s Church in Patrixbourne. We read prayers and thought of local soldiers who fought in the war. Year 6 also created reflective haikus to read at the service.…
