We have had a very busy week this week in Year R learning our new phonemes ‘f’ and ‘b’. We had a great choice of activities to choose from such as firework pictures, building bonfires, practising our letter writing and making firework biscuits!

Learning about Diwali

To begin our new term, we started our celebrations topic looking at the festival of Diwali. Throughout the week, we have done a variety of activities such as learning the story of Rama and Sita, having the opportunity to make Diva lamps, making patterns in rice and learn our new phoneme ‘d’!
