To begin our new term, we started our celebrations topic looking at the festival of Diwali. Throughout the week, we have done a variety of activities such as learning the story of Rama and Sita, having the opportunity to make Diva lamps, making patterns in rice and learn our new phoneme ‘d’! 

A very big thank you to Mrs Takher-Smith for sharing her experiences of Diwali with us and bringing in some fantastic Rangoli patterns for us to try!
