FE FI FO FUM who likes to have fun?
Forest School had some fairy tale inspirations this term. We read Goldilocks, made binoculars to go on an animal hunt, explored small animal world play and climbed the ladder. The weather was icy - and who needs more than a natural playground (as long as you wear enough socks and layers)? Little red riding hood came to visit - the children could act out the story, create their own story pebbles or make up stories with story dice. Jack and the Beanstalk helped us go on a treasure hunt around the different Forest School areas to find a golden egg - they climbed the Beanstalk and pretended to be giants on the mound. Mallets and tees were on offer to support the children's motor skills.
