After an uneventful journey, we all arrived safely at the PGL centre in Hailsham and the children were keen to meet ‘Steve-O’ their group leader and get on with their activities. 

This afternoon the children have had a mix of fencing, climbing and trapeze and everyone has been great at giving it their best shots. 

Dinner got the seal of approval from Mr Perfect (and the children!) and there were plenty of smiling faces around the table. 

We finished the evening with a campfire and sing-along with very enthusiastic participation. 

I say ‘we finished the evening’; the children are getting ready for bed and I think that the adults’ evening will be a few hours longer yet!
