On Friday, Year 5 visited Bridge Church as part of their RE learning around the question, 'What does it mean if God is loving and holy?' After an introduction about the history of the church by Rev. Estella, the children completed a carousel around the building, looking at various features and thinking about their link to God. These included: the font where people are baptised, the lectern from which the Bible is read and stained glass windows depicting Christian stories. We summarised by discussing how many aspects of the Church are merely furniture, but their use is what shows God being loving and holy.
