To complete our unit on Forces, this week the children were tasked with protecting an egg from cracking when dropped from height. The children considered how they could maximise air resistance to slow the fall, also thinking about how gravity was affecting the egg. There were an array of designs and the children had great excitement seeing their eggs drop from the window, unpacking them and assessing the damage! It was a fitting way to end an interesting Science topic, and a bit of end-of term fun!
