This week was another 'get-very-muddy-and-have-lots-of-fun' kind of week. The rain turned our digging area into a mud slide!

I told the children a story about looking after the plants in the forest and building shelters whilst sitting in our new shed. After a couple of games and counting activities, we read 'The three little pigs' and everyone had the challenge to build a shelter this week. They used Tarps, bungee cords, sticks and clips for their creations. For some it was a completely new task and we saw fantastic team building skills developing. Even tables, floors, fires and furniture was being built. They all enjoyed a biscuit in their shelters!!
