During Forest School this week the Year One children started to learn about our new Forest School area, the opportunities available to them and the rules that they will need to follow to keep safe while they explore.

After a game of 'Hide like a hedgehog' they had the opportunity to choose from a number of exciting activities. As well as climbing the rope ladder, playing in the mud kitchen and building a hedgehog home, some of the children chose to hunt for bugs and create clay hedgehogs or snails. They also gathered together to sing 'I'm a little hedgehog' and reflect on the afternoon.
