Throughout Term 2, Year 6 explored different ways of exploring different ways of depicting the moving body in their artwork. We looked at and analysed the work of several artists, including those involved in the Futurist art movement. 
 

Pupils considered the proportions of the human figure and recorded movement from observation in a range of art media. Using these preparatory sketches and drawing inspiration from a range of artists’ work, pupils then designed wire and wood sculptures.
