On Saturday 9th November we were lucky enough that the weather held off for the school community to enjoy our annual Fireworks Extravaganza.
This has long been an annual fixture in the Bridge School calendar and is the school PTA’s biggest fundraiser getting bigger and better which each subsequent year.
All in all, we had over 2400 people in attendance and the PTA raised an impressive £6200!
As in previous years, the PTA will be making a donation towards a charity which has supported a member of our school community and this year the chosen charity is the Royal Marsden Children's Hospital.
So much work goes into the organisation of this event that it would very difficult to individually name each and every one but there is one person whom without this event would simply not have taken place and this would, of course, be our very own Rob Moon.
On behalf of the school, parents and children, I would like to thank everyone, but Rob Moon in particular, for all their hard work.
