War Pennies
As part of their Remembrance Work, Year 2 have been studying a War Penny that belonged to a relative of Mrs Dennett.
She was so impressed with Phoebe's design that she was sent to me for a Headteacher Award!
Year 2 Guy Fawkes Writing
It was lovely to see some writing from Olivia in year 2 today. Year 2 have been learning about Guy Fawkes this week and Olivia included lots of information in her writing. She even got a Puffin Point from Mrs Franks. Well done Olivia.
Firework Poetry
Year 2 have been writing Firework poems using exciting sentence openers and, this morning, Ira from 2GD came to show me his wonderful poem.
