Year 4 have a enjoyed two separate field trips into Bridge and the surrounding countryside. We followed a map and identified various different places. We walked quite a long way on the first trip and could see the whole of Bridge from the top of the hill which was a great view. We could see the A2, the Pig Hotel and the church and learnt that we live in a valley which the River Nailbourne runs through. In school we have drawn our own sketch maps which are on display. The second time we visited Bridge was to count traffic and measure noise levels with a data logger. Year 4 stood outside the shop and completed a tally chart. In class we drew our own line graphs to show changing noise levels. We have had a lovely time.
