As part of the Forest School experience, children get to come to Covert Woods once a year. We listened to the noises and the birds, found special natural items on the floor and played a blindfold game. Children had to lead their partners carefully to a tree and the partner later on had to go around and find the tree by remembering the feel, texture and size of it. We read the story 'Where the wild things are' and children built dens for the puppets. We also went mushroom hunting and explored the area.
