What is the Eco-Council?
Our Eco-Council is a group of pupils who are passionate about looking after our school, our community and our planet. Representatives from each class meet regularly to discuss environmental issues, share ideas and lead projects that help make our school more sustainable.
The Eco-Council gives pupils the opportunity to develop leadership skills while taking real action to protect the environment.
Our Aims
Our Eco-Council works to:
- Reduce waste in school
- Encourage recycling and responsible use of resources
- Save energy and water
- Improve our school grounds for wildlife and biodiversity
- Promote environmentally friendly habits across the school community
- Help everyone understand how we can care for our planet
