Over the last three weeks, Year R have been experimenting with mark-making. They have been dipping objects and tools into poster paint and moving them around their A3 page to make a variety of marks on their paper. They have also been mixing primary colours in their paint trays to make secondary colours.

This week, we have upscaled the project! The children have used larger tools such as thick rope, balls, brushes, large toy dinosaurs etc. They have been rolling, dragging, and twisting them to create bold marks on large rolls of paper outside. This is a great way to develop gross motor skills, creativity and confidence. What a fun way to end a busy term!
