This week, pupils visited Bridge Church to take part in the 2026 Prayer Stations, enjoying a thoughtful and reflective experience linked to their RE learning. The visit gave children the opportunity to explore the importance of Lent for Christians and consider themes of kindness, generosity and hope.
During the session, the children completed three meaningful activities. They decorated paper hands with ideas for acts of generosity, created a “hope pathway” filled with thoughts and wishes for causes they care about, and wrote anonymous kind messages to be shared with friends back in the classroom.
The visit encouraged reflection, empathy and positivity, and provided a calm space for pupils to think about how small actions can make a big difference to others.
