Bridge and Patrixbourne Church of England Primary School is delighted to share the outcome of its recent Statutory Inspection of Anglican and Methodist Schools (SIAMS), carried out in September 2025.

The report praises the school for “living up to its foundation as a Church school and enabling pupils and adults to flourish.” It recognises the way the school’s Christian vision — “We provide opportunities for everyone to flourish and grow within the love of God” — is brought to life across every aspect of school life.

Inspectors highlighted a number of key strengths, including:

  • Strong, values-driven leadership that promotes mutual trust and ensures everyone feels supported and valued.

  • An inclusive and creative curriculum that helps each child discover and develop their unique gifts.

  • A strong focus on wellbeing, with a caring culture where pupils and staff thrive.

  • High-quality Religious Education, expertly led and engaging pupils in exploring faith and diversity with respect.

  • A close partnership with St Peter’s Church, enriching collective worship and deepening the school’s Christian character.

The report also identifies opportunities to build on this success by providing more ways for pupils to reflect spiritually, connect worship to daily life, and take action for justice and responsibility in the wider world.

“We are so proud of this report, which captures the dedication, care, and faith that make Bridge and Patrixbourne such a special community. It’s a wonderful reflection of our staff, pupils, governors, church partners, and families — all growing and flourishing together within the love of God.”
