Yesterday, we were again joined by head chef from The Pig, Andy, for our second session as part of their Adopt a School programme. The theme this time was around cutting skills and the children learnt both the 'claw' and 'bridge' methods for chopping vegetables. They then used a combination of these techniques to chop ingredients for a salad which they took home to enjoy with their dinner! The children thoroughly enjoyed themselves and are looking forward to the third and final session in the summer term!
