We had sunshine for our first trip to Covert Woods. Year 1 were very excited. We played a blindfolding game where children had to trust each other. We looked all around and found some natural treasures on the forest floor and learned a little bit about about the trees and plants that grow there. Children made little dens and homes for the Wild things, after we read the story and they had some time exploring the woodlands.
