On Tuesday 10th of June, ten children from yr4 went to polo farm to compete in a cricket tournament. Our first game was against Petham – we bowled lots of wickets and did some great batting to win the game. Our next game was against Canterbury. In the first half, the other team batted some great balls but we stopped lots of them. We won the game! Our last game was against Blean. Blean shot lots of sixes but we got some wickets too. When we were batting, we did very well.
On the last bowl, we were level. When Hunter hit it, he sneaked in one last run, ending the game 80-81 to us.
This meant we had won the Yr3 and 4 tournament. We would like to thank Mr Taylor and Mrs Brooks for taking us and Mr Perfect for coaching us.
