Sycamore Class received a special visit this week from Amelie’s mum, who came to present the children with a certificate recognising their remarkable fundraising efforts. The class recently took part in a sponsored silence — a challenge they tackled with impressive commitment (and remarkable quietness!).

Their efforts paid off in spectacular fashion, raising an astonishing £1,667 for Wear It Pink, a charity dedicated to supporting breast cancer research and care. This eye-watering total reflects the children’s determination, generosity, and teamwork throughout the project.

The class were guided and supported by Mr Wren, Mrs Brooks and Mrs Corall, who were immensely proud of Sycamore’s hard work. Let’s just say the silence may also have been enjoyed by the adults in the room… purely for educational reasons, of course!

A huge well done to Sycamore Class for making such a meaningful difference. Their achievement truly embodies the spirit of kindness, service and community that we value as a school.
