After our Harvest Service at the church on Thursday 16th October our Year 4, 5 and 6 school worship leaders delivered all the food that had been donated to the Canterbury Food Bank. They were lucky enough to also receive a tour of the site and ask questions about how the food bank works.

The following day some of the worship leaders shared what had happened with the rest of the school, this is what they wrote.

'At Canterbury food bank we brought a colossal amount of food from Bridge School. Thanks to you (and other people who donate) there will be 20,000 deliveries including our donations of food in 2025. We hope that our donations will go to people in need. The food bank was full to the brim with canned and delicious food from schools around Canterbury; there were 4000 tins of baked beans and a ginormous amount of toilet roll. At Canterbury Food Bank the orders were given in packs from adult packs to children packs to holiday packs to household packs and allergy packs of all kinds.'

Thank you very much to everyone who donated to this valuable charity.
