We are delighted to invite parents and carers of our Reception children to our Phonics Workshop.
This informative session will explain how phonics is taught at Bridge and how children develop the skills they need to become confident readers and writers. You'll gain an understanding of how we teach letter sounds, blend words for reading and support children as they begin their reading journey.
The workshop will also provide practical ideas and simple activities that you can use at home to reinforce your child's learning. Working together, we can help children develop a lifelong love of reading and build the strong foundations they need for future success.
There will be an opportunity to ask questions, see some of the resources we use in school and find out how reading books and home learning support your child's progress.
